Salvaged from a WW II era U. S. Navy ship, a solid brass aneroid barometer is signed "Bendix Friez."
There is an adjustment screw on the bottom, but we do not know if this nautical instrument works or can be adjusted accurately. There are dings to the removable brass bezel, see photos.
A dial inscription reads "Manufactured for the Department of the Navy." The back plate has holes for wall mounting screws.
Size is 7 1/2" diameter and 4" deep.
