Signed "Brevete," a French metric balance scale from about 1890 has a dovetailed oak base and platform and weighs to 90 kg.
The old finish has nice antique patina with a few shrinkage separations for character. This European made scale appears to be in working order with sliding brass weights on engraved iron bars.
Size is 26" long, 19" wide and 12" tall.
