Carved 1900 Antique Linen Chest or Dresser

Magnificently hand carved about 1900, this linen chest or dresser has truly masterful details. Even the back legs are artistically sculpted in solid curly grain walnut and matched burl.

The top has been revarnished for durability, the rest has a very fine old finish with warm antique patina. Waxed and buffed, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain the luster. Gracefully bowed drawer fronts have dovetailed joints on this palatial American made furniture.
