Carved Angels Antique Velvet 1920's Sofa

All original from about 1920, this sofa has a beautifully hand carved oak frame and three dimensional carved angels or cherubs. Original soft velvet upholstery is faded but has remarkably little wear as shown. The richly detailed solid oak has a very fine finish with expert detailing and barley twist columns. Waxed and polished, it needs only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth to maintain its antique patina and luster. We see no damage to the cane panels.

Springs are firm and cushions are extremely comfortable on this marvelous European crafted sofa from Scandinavia.

Dimensions are 6' long, 35" deep, 39" tall and seats are 20" high.
