Carved French Tufted Vintage Sofa, Red Mohair

A stunning 1950's carved sofa or couch has original luscious red mohair upholstery. There is very little wear on the soft genuine natural mohair, tufting in the back is expert and cushions are zippered.

Gracefully curved and pierced, the frame is fruitwood with an original finish in very fine condition on this vintage furniture. Brass nailhead trim accents this comfortable sofa, expertly crafted in France with a relaxed angle and firm cushions. There is fading on the backside, see photos.

Measurements are 84" wide, 38" deep, 40" tall and seat cushions are 19" high.
