Four magnificently carved winged griffin sculptures support an inlaid burl and banded top on this 1920's era manor house dining table.
Boldly scaled, there are four original matching leaves. Strong and stable furniture, the deep, rich finish is excellent with minor mars on the edges of the base, see photos.
Design was inspired by Italian Renaissance masters. High relief carving in solid walnut, lion paw feet, and deep moldings are stellar. This quality American made furniture was made by Empire of Rockford, Ilinois.
Measurements are 42" wide, 30 1/2" tall, 6' long when closed and 10' long with all four leaves in place.
Related pieces in photos are priced and sold separately, call or email for availability.
