Exceptional quality is everywhere on this striking vintage set of dining chairs in glowing satinwood and burl.
Finely crafted in the 1940's, the set of chairs is not signed but matching pieces have a brass plate, "Northern Furniture Co, Sheboygan, Wis." The golden finish is excellent and this elegant furniture is completely solid and usable. These chairs are professionally repadded and reupholstered in elegant European fabric
They have been expertly re-glued for strength and durability, the joints are tight and solid. Chairs are the hardest used of all furniture, they need more gluing, tightening and restoration than another household furnishing.
Our skilled woodworkers have checked for problems, disassembled, removed old glue, applied fresh glue and clamped these chairs to give them another generation of service. The price of our chairs includes restoration, and they are ready to use - durable and usable for modern lifestyles.
There are two armchairs, note repairs to arms and six side chairs with beautiful upholstery. The chairs are 20" wide, 38" tall and 17" deep. The seat is 18" from the floor. Matching pieces are sold separately.
