Civil War Tintype Photograph of Union Officer Antique Portrait, Dated 1863

This "tintype" portrait of a Union Civil War officer has an inscription in the case, "Received March 20, 1863, Died July 8, 1863." The mustachioed subject is unknown. The well worn case is incomplete and the antique photo is flaking, see photos.

Overall size is 3 1/4" x 3 3/4" and 1/2" deep.
