Handmade of maple hardwood about 1910, this country woodworker's workbench would serve as a picturesque antique kitchen island or counter. Loads of character - mars, stains and dings - are preserved with a fine durable finish on all four sides, making for wonderful rustic patina.
Ridiculously rugged construction includes two working vise clamps with wooden screws. There are peg holes in the top and a recessed tool area. Along the backside is a removable tool or knife rack.
Size of this charming American primitive furniture is 39" tall, the top surface is 34" high, 48" wide plus the vise for 55" total width, 24" wide plus the vise for 29" total.
