Country French Carved Oak Sideboard with Clock

Richly carved of solid fine-grained oak in classic Country French design, this large sideboard has lots of storage, display and a clock. The deep brown finish is excellent on this exemplary vintage furniture from about 40 years ago.
The clock keeps excellent time with a quartz battery movement and operating pendulum. "Tempus Fugit," Latin for "Time Flies," is engraved into the traditional dial.
Sides have raised panels, and the upper section is separate for easier moving. Brasses are original on this imposing but graceful buffet or sideboard with a gently arched top.
Measurements are 9' long, 21' deep, 7'5" tall and the base is 38" high.
