The relaxed elegance of classic country French or Provincial design makes this set of six dining chairs special. This exceptional vintage furniture dates from the 1920's. The warm golden brown finish is excellent on solid fruitwood with exquisitely detailed hand carving.
These chairs have been expertly re- glued for strength and durability, the joints are tight and solid. Chairs are the hardest used of all furniture, they need more gluing, tightening and restoration than another household furnishing.
Our skilled woodworkers have checked for problems, disassembled, removed old glue, applied fresh glue and clamped these chairs to give them another generation of service. The price of our chairs includes restoration, and they are ready to use - durable and usable for modern lifestyles.
Chairs have new padding and upholstery in European fabric, and all are sturdy and solid. The gently curved and angled backs make them comfortable, each measures 18" wide, 22" deep, 39" tall and seats are 19" high.
