Carved of solid oak about 1880, a fireplace mantel and surround with mirror has a very worn old ocher toned paint finish with loads of antique patina and character - wear, stain and mars.
The raised panels and fluted moldings are characteristic of the Eastlake period. There are small scratches on the beveled mirror.
American made architectural salvage from Chicago, size is 60" wide, 10" deep, 74 1/2" tall and the fire opening is 41 1/2" wide and 36" tall.
