An original 1900 era marble top Empire center table was later shortened to coffee table height. The carved solid mahogany base is imposing with a crenelated flame grain skirt.
Strong and tight antique furniture, the satiny finish is in excellent condition. There are small shrinkage separations for character.
"Nero Portoro," famous black marble from Italy, has been polished and sealed to resist stains. Brass wheels are original on this American made oval table.
Measurements are 36" long, 31" wide and 21 1/2" high.
