A remarkable one-of-a-kind folk art dressing table or vanity was hand-carved from thick solid planks of exquisite "bird's eye" grain maple. There are triple hinged mirrors above plus a matching bench.
The delicate natural grain "shimmers" as you walk past this American antique furniture, crafted about 1900. Golden and glowing, the finish is excellent with just a few mars on the seat. Brass knobs and the slightly "smoky" mirrors are original.
This historic and picturesque ensemble was created by a skilled amateur Wisconsin cabinetmaker for his wife, and was purchased from the original family. Dimensions of the table are 38" wide, 19" deep, 53" tall, the top surface is 28"above the floor. The stout bench is 24" long, 14" deep and 17" high
