For over two centuries, this table has hosted grand feasts for the nobility of Spain and France, showcasing its owner's wealth and refined tastes. Carefully brought back to life by our master craftsman, it is truly an amazing piece of history that will last for many more generations.
- Spanish antique 1790s furniture
- Most recently housed in a French castle
- Top is handcrafted of two solid chunks of mahogany
- Birch, oak, & walnut with inlaid roaring lions with shield motifs on each corner
- Top surface has been refinished for durability. The rest of the original finish has been waxed and buffed, preserving mars. All that is needed to maintain the soft luster is an occasional wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
- Shrinkage separations from age - see photos
- Wrought iron hardware is original
- Removable top & three piece base are extremely heavy, call for shipping details
Table size is 112.5" long when closed, 39" wide and 30.5" tall. Legroom is 28" high.
