French Antique 1880 Oak Deacon Chair, Carved Angels
Hand carved of solid oak about 1880, this splendid church "Deacon's" chair has richly detailed three dimensional sculptures of angels.
The original finish has been waxed and buffed, so all that is needed to maintain its glowing patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.
This historic antique furniture from France has been reglued, and is tight and strong.
Dimensions are 27" wide, 20" deep, 32" tall and the seat is 19 1/2" high.
