French Carved Antique Rosewood Armoire, Mirror

An elegant hand carved antique French rosewood armoire dates from about 1890. The original finish is excellent with warm patina. Exquisite diamond matched panels are outstanding.
The wonderful Roccoco crests are truly amazing and show stunning artistry. Expert carving is in high relief, panels are diagonally matched. Rosewood has a sublime delicate grain and color, is extremely hard, and has a silken original finish.
The interior is oak and bird's eye maple with shelves adjustable on wooden supports, there are are 2 hand dovetailed drawers at the bottom.
There are minor mars at the edges and shrinkage as expected with age. Measurements of this exquisite antique furniture is 8' 5" tall, 5' 3" wide and 20" deep.
