A genuine rosewood bookcase or console cabinet was hand crafted in France about 1880.
This antique was owned by Texas Governor, John Connally, who was also shot at the assassination of President Kennedy.
The finish is in excellent condition, there are various mars at the edges, restorations and the top is slightly uneven, see photos. Tapered columns have delicately carved capitals on this historic and elegant cabinet.
Size is 42" wide, 17" deep and 38" tall including the gallery.
