French Style 1940 Vintage 4 Pc. Full Size Bedroom Set
Crafted of shimmering satinwood about 1940, this four piece bedroom set in the French manner includes a standard full size bed, tall chest on chest, dresser and wall mirror. Signed by noted maker, "Joerns Bros. of Stevens Point, Wis.," this superior quality set has opulent detailing.
The satiny finish is in excellent condition, embossed hardware is original. Drawers have dovetailed hardwood sides on this vintage American made furniture.
The bed measures 57" wide, 81" long, the headboard is 50" tall and the footboard is 22" high. A pallet or bunky board has been created and upholstered so that only a modern mattress is needed without a spring unit, keeping bedding from being so tall as to cover up much of the richly sculpted headboard.
Tall chest size is 32" wide, 22" deep and 54" tall.
The dresser is 52" wide, 23" deep and 36" tall and the mirror is 28" wide and 44" tall.
