Georgian Mahogany Dining Set 12 Chairs, 13' Table

This palatial mahogany dining set includes 12 chairs and a classic scalloped table measuring 13'4" long with magnificent matched flame grain mahogany and spectacular banding in exotic rosewood, ebony, tulipwood and satinwood. The table is supported by two large carved mahogany "birdcage" pedestals, each with four brass feet. There are three matching 24" wide leaves. Size is 54 1/2" wide, almost 30" tall, and 88" long when closed, with all three leaves the table is 13'4" long.

Twelve pierced and hand carved solid mahogany chairs are carved in the early Georgian style, with delicate detailing. They have graceful lines and soft seats. The semi-glossy finish is excellent. Rungs between the legs are for added strength. All are large and comfortable sturdy chairs, with neutral upholstery that can easily be changed to accommodate any setting. The 2 armchairs are 26" wide, 21" deep, and 40" tall, seats are 19" high. Ten side chairs measure 23" wide, 21" deep and 40" tall.

This dining set, table and chairs, are modern reproductions or replicas of 18th Century Georgian or Federal Period furniture. These famous designs are prestigious classics, which are new or almost new from famous American table makers. Sometimes they are from designer showrooms, furniture trade shows, or custom order cancellations. Sets are offered at a price far less than furniture stores, and therefore the original signatures are removed by the makers. After carefully inspecting these traditional tables and fine chairs, they are polished as needed. There are only very tiny mars or scratches, and we proudly present this historic and impeccable furniture at extraordinary savings.

All chairs and the table are completely solid, and this set is exceptional in every way. Additional side chairs may be available at $250 each, as the table easily accommodates 14.
