Signed by famous maker, "Globe Wernicke of Cincinnati, Ohio," this three section lawyer's or barrister bookcase dates from about 1900.
Birch hardwood has a superb mahogany finish, brass hardware and wavy glass doors are original. There is a tiny chip in the corner of the bottom glass pane. The base with a drawer and top are separate stacking sections on this American made antique library furniture.
The top section fits books up to 9 1/2" deep and 11" tall, the lower sections up to 13" tall. Overall size is 34" wide, 12" deep and 51" high.
