Signed by famous bookcase and office furniture maker, "Globe Wernicke," a straightforward mahogany desk has a file drawer and original brass pulls and feet.
The brass signature plate shows it was expertly crafted at "11 North Wabash St," Chicago about 1910. Deep drawers are dovetailed, the lustrous finish is excellent. There are two pull-out shelves for extra work area.
Measurements of this American antique are 50" long, 30" wide, 30 1/2" tall, the kneehole is 19" wide and 26" high.
