Signed by famous maker, "Globe Wernicke of Cincinnati," this Arts and Crafts 1900 era stacking bookcase includes a desk section. The original finish with some added later varnish is beautiful with warm antique patina.
Inside the drop front desk below tiny cubicles is some wear plus old ink stains to the finish. Quarter sawn oak has beautiful grain. Actually six separate stacking sections, the working lock and hardware are original on this American made furniture.
Dimensions are 35" wide, 15" deep, 57" tall and the desk writing surface is 30" high.
