A very comfortable sofa was hand carved of solid birch hardwood about 1940 in Scandinavia.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on the strong and tight frame. Soft upholstery with channel tufting is recent and in very fine condition.
Springs are supportive and firm, this vintage furniture has a relaxed seating angle. The arms have a little flexion, this could be reglued whenever the next reupholstering takes place.
Measurements are 71" wide, 35" deep, 31" tall and the seat is 16" high.
A matching pair of chairs in photos is priced and sold separately, call or email for availability.
