This antique maple map chest, drawing or document file cabinet has 16 drawers. Entirely original from about 1900, there are brass label holders on every drawer.
This sturdy furniture has the original warm brown finish, with some crackling plus mars and dents, mainly on the top, see photos, but is in remarkably fine condition for its age. Sides are paneled.
Drawers fit well and slide smoothly, interior measurements are 26" wide, 20" front to back and 1 7/8" deep. Overall size is 31 1/2" wide, 24" deep and 62" tall.
