An elegant Georgian design silver plate tilting tea pot or kettle with stand and alcohol burner from about 1900 is signed by premier London silversmiths "Mappin & Webb, Prince's Quadruple Plate."
Deeply embossed and richly detailed, insulated handles are carved of genuine ebony. There is slight wear at some edges to the brass underneath, see photos.
An alcohol burner with a wick is clean burning and hot. The kettle tips to pour, there are keys on chains to tilt or to lock the kettle to its claw footed stand.
Size of this gracious and very usable antique from England is 10" long, 7" wide and 12" tall.
