Wonderfully made of solid brass and marble, this antique stand or cabinet was either a tobacco humidor or a physician's cabinet.
The compartment in the base has tiny ventilation holes in the back, and the porcelain wheels appear original. The marble has some stains and hairline cracks, see photos.
Dating from about 1900, this precious little stand could serve as a bedside table or mini-bar. Dimensions are just over 16" square and 32 1/2" tall.
