A set of hand-painted antique china for 12 is signed by famous English maker, "Minton," in the delicate and lovely Iolanthe pattern. Dating from the 1920's, the set appears to have been lightly used, and has remarkably little wear or knife marks.
Imperfections we see are: 2 bowls have slight crazing in the bottom, one of them also has small losses to the raised hand-painted detailing. Also, one bread and butter plate has a small chip, two cups have very slight tea-colored stains, and one cup has a 1 3/8" hairline crack, see photos. There is a total of 60 pieces.
