Custom made about 1900 for a Wisconsin insurance firm, this imposing quarter sawn oak table with four drawers was used for board meetings.
The finish is in excellent condition, enhancing the fine grained solid oak top. There are small mars at the edges of the base. Four dovetailed drawers have original hardware. American made antique office or library furniture, the curved base shows Empire design influence.
Measurements of this historic conference table are 8' long, 41 1/2: wide and 31" tall. The knee room under the table is 25".
