An original icebox from about 1900 kept food cold with a block of ice before the age of electric refrigeration, today it could be a bar cabinet.
Oak, elm and ash hardwoods have a very fine finish, preserving lots of antique character - stains, dings and shrinkage separations from age, see photos. Old hardware is nickel, the back is wainscoting. The tin interior is painted with later shelves.
Measurements of this American made kitchen furniture are 35" wide, 22" deep and 47" tall.
