Architectural salvage from southern France, a pair of hand crafted pine doors and doorway frame date from about 1870.
This entryway set could be used for a garden, wine cellar, doorway or just as art on a wall. Wrought iron grillwork with brass medallions is original, there were once glass windows behind that are now lost.
The wood has been stripped and has no finish, this antique doorway has warm golden patina. Joints have carved wooden pegs. The upper transom window frame could be removed if desired.
Original hardware includes hinges, a working original latch (no key) and deadbolt.
Doors swing on lift-off hinges and are about 21" wide. Overall size is 47" wide, 3" deep and 11' 1" tall, if the the upper transom frame is removed, overall height would be 9.'
