Queen Size 1890 Antique 2 Pc. Carved Bedroom Set, Inlaid Bronze & Pearl

A magnificent 2 piece bedroom set was hand carved of solid mahogany about 1890, and includes a queen size bed and large chest or dresser with swivel mirror.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this palatial American made antique furniture. Artistic inlaid bronze, mother of pearl and abalone designs are original.
Spiral columns and raised panels are distinguished. The chest has cast bronze pulls, the original beveled mirror has a little antique "smoke" to show its age.
Large drawers have hand cut dovetail joints. Size is 58" wide at the crown, 25" deep and 89" tall, the top is 33" high.
The bed has been adapted to fit a standard modern queen size mattress and spring unit as shown, the demonstrator set is 18" thick together. Measurements are 87" long, 66" wide, the headboard is 76" tall and the footboard is 36" high.
