This round dining table has 6 leaves, and is authentic Arts and Crafts or Mission Oak period furniture from about 1905.
Richly figured quarter sawn or "tiger" grain oak, the warm deep brown finish is excellent everywhere. The round top has also an original top layer of quarter sawn grain oak veneer, which was added for its beautiful "book matched" grain.
When extended, the boldly scaled pedestal "splits," revealing a center leg for extra support. All six leaves have skirts or aprons, they fit and match very well.
Substantial American made furniture from the Midwest, this table opens and closes smoothly.
Measurements are approximately 48" diameter, 29 1/2" tall, legroom is 26" underneath, and when all six 12" leaves are in place, length is almost 10' total.
