A solid brass 1900 era "samovar" is a traditional hot water tea kettle, the sign of Russian hospitality.
Hot coals were dropped into the center chimney to boil water in the surrounding reservoir, which has a tin wash. The Imperial Czarist era stamps are worn on this nostalgic antique. There are a few dings and a hole in the side of the tank, see photos.
Dimensions are 13" across and 16" tall.
