An opulent "Cartouche" wall clock in the Rococo manner was hand carved in Sweden about 1930 and is signed "Westerstrand of Toreboda," Sweden. The original burnished gold finish over wood is lovely.
The 8 day brass movement keeps excellent time and strikes the hour and the half on a bell. Pendulum and filigree brass hands are original, this clock must hang on a wall to operate.
The dial of this lovely antique European timepiece has a convex glass hinged cover, size is 14" wide, 27" tall and 4 1/2" deep.
