A swivel draftsman or architect stool from around 1900 is solid quarter sawn oak with an excellent finish. The original cast iron swivel mechanism is embossed "Johnson Chair Co. Chicago," and has a locking height adjustment.

This rugged and heavy antique office furniture has a round ring footrest and sculpted seat. Size is 19" across the base and height adjusts from about 30-34" overall.
