One of the most elaborate genuine cedar lined chests we have ever seen, this outstanding 1930's walnut furniture includes panels of mahogany, zebra wood and curly maple.
The exterior has an excellent finish. Small jewel drawers have original bakelite pulls. The lid is released with a push button latch. Inside are guarantees and original labels, signed "Standard Screen Co. of Chicago," there is a $250 moth insurance policy included.
The clock is a modern quartz battery movement, the original clock was lost. Size of this vintage American chest is 49" wide, 20" deep, 39" tall and the flat top is 31" high.
