Victorian 1870's Marble Top and Walnut Sideboard

This lovely Victorian sideboard has carved fruit and nut pulls, and the hand carved crest on the oval door includes a three dimensional cluster of grapes. It is made of walnut with walnut burl in a very warm gleaming reddish brown finish that is in very good condition. This piece was carved entirely by hand about 1870. The drawers have hand dove tailed sides, and they fit well and work smoothly. The mirror section and crest are removable for easier moving. It is 55 1/2' long, 18" deep, 81 1/2" tall, and the top of the serving surface is 40" above the floor.
