This very charming mahogany Victorian parlor antique is a combination sewing stand and dressing table. The old finish on all four sides has a wonderful gleaming patina. This table would have been placed next to a favorite chair for needlework. There is a flip-up pincushion and original mirror under the lid.
Solid and well-made furniture, there are compartments inside, some with birdseye maple lids. The flip top is a single plank of solid mahogany, and there is some crackling to the curved flame mahogany sides, see photo. Dating from about 1850. dimensions are 28" wide, 18" deep and 27 1/2" tall.
