From the late Victorian or Eastlake period about 1875, this foyer or hall stand would also be functional in a bath or dressing area. It has everything - a mirror, umbrella and cane stands, marble top and original mirror.
The finish is in excellent condition on solid walnut with burl panels. Polished and sealed, there are small stains in the original marble, see photos.
The drawer has "pin and cove" dovetail joints, characteristic of the era. Cast iron pans for umbrella drips are also original on this American made antique furniture. The wavy glass mirror has a little "smoke" to show its age.
Nothing is exactly square on this charmingly hand crafted historic stand, see photos. Size is 38" wide, 12" deep and 92" tall.
