Victorian Eastlake Marble Top Sideboard Buffet
Carved of solid walnut with burl panels, a late Victorian or Eastlake period sideboard or buffet dates from about 1885. The marble top is excellent, the original mirror has a deeply curved bevel, and engraved brasses are also original.
The beautiful gallery has incised carving and geometric fluting of the period. Drawers are dovetailed, there is original velvet lining in the silver drawers.
The gleaming finish is superb, accentuating the intricate burl grain, notice some missing burl in photos. Measurements of this American antique furniture are 4' wide, 20" deep, 7' 4" tall and the marble is 36" high.
