An authentic late Victorian or Eastlake solid quarter-sawn oak fireplace mantel and surround has a beveled mirror.
The golden finish is original with lots of character - mars and stains - and wonderful golden patina. There are galleries and moldings that show Aesthetic period influence from about 1880.
This architectural antique has fluted columns, delicate carved detailing and graceful proportions.
Overall size is 54" wide, 12" deep and 6'11" tall, the fire opening is 29 1/2" wide and 36" high.
