Victorian Oak 1895 Antique Sideboard Buffet, Beveled Mirror

A marvelous 1895 era antique sideboard or buffet has an upper gallery with candle stands and a beveled mirror. Solid quarter sawn oak, the lustrous finish is superb with just enough mars and shrinkage separations for character, see photos.

The original shaped mirror has a wide bevel and a little "smoke" to show its age. Heavy weight brasses are also original, locks and keys work. Spiral columns with Ionic capitals and bun feet are wonderful. The center door has a raised arched panel, sides are paneled as well.

For easier moving, the gallery is removable. The center of this grand American made furniture is gracefully bowed, feet are lion paws.

Measurements of this historic server are 62" wide, 26" deep, 67" tall and the base is 36" high.
