Made for chess or checkers, this Victorian period game table from about 1875 has a glass top, reverse painted with genuine gold leaf plus pearl and abalone with some losses for antique character, see photos.
Underneath is a fabric panel. The sturdy pedestal is solid walnut with a finish in very good condition.
