Champion Register Cleveland Oak File System, Collector Cabinet, 1909 — $175.00 (sold) 

Useful for a collector of flat items, this signed "Champion Register of Cleveland, Ohio" oak file system was patented in 1909.

There are 12 flip up hinged tin bill or slip holders with spring clips, the original lacquer finish is well worn. Spaces fit anything flat up to 3 1/2" x 6." In the top are old master hand written lists of customers from the early 1930's. The lower drawer fits three rows of 4x6 sized objects.

American made antique office furniture, the solid quarter sawn oak case has a fine finish. Overall size is 23" wide, 28" deep and 30 1/2" tall.
