Signed by one of America's most famous Victorian clockmakers, "Ansonia," this Victorian period china clock is hand painted with flowers and gold accents.
The open escapement brass 8 day movement has been professionally cleaned and oiled and runs accurately, striking the hour and half. Engraving on the back reads "Ansonia, New York, Pat. June 14, '81."
The brass and porcelain dial has hairline cracks, see photos. We see no damage to the case, but the porcelain glaze is crackled or crazed due to age. Beveled glass is original in an embossed brass door frame.
Size of this antique clock is 13" wide, 6" deep and 12" tall.
This piece can be shipped with insurance, USPS within the Continental US for $40.00.
