Crafted of maple and birch hardwood for a clock and watchmaker about 1910, this workbench is an interesting tall desk, kitchen island or wine tasting table.
Originally intended for use with a stool or standing height, there is a pull out "parts catcher" with a cloth bottom to collect tiny gears. Hardware is original. Small parts drawers and a cubby hole for tools made this very functional American made antique furniture.
Well worn, there is lots of character and old paint - losses, stains and mars from a century's use - all preserved with a restored finish in excellent condition.
Size is 39 1/2" wide, 19" deep and 38 1/2" tall.
