Art Deco 1935 Vintage Waterfall 5 Pc Bedroom Set, Queen Size Bed
A stellar Art Deco period five piece bedroom set from the late 1930's is in the "waterfall" style, and includes a queen size bed, dresser with mirror, tall chest and pair of nightstands.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on shimmering mahogany with matched walnut burl and maple, accented with inlaid banding. Drawers have dovetailed joints and solid oak sides. Hardware with bakelite inserts is original, except for replacements on the nightstands, which are slightly different, see photos.
Mirrors have reverse etching and a little antique "smoke" to show their age on this American made vintage furniture.
Expertly adapted to fit a queen size mattress, the demonstrator mattress and spring unit set shown is 18" thick together. Wood supports are included.
Bed measurements are 66" wide, 86" long, the headboard is 57" tall and the footboard is 24" high.
The dresser measures 46" wide, 22" and 6' tall, the tall chest is 35" wide, 20" deep and 69" tall.
Two nightstands are 13" wide, 18" deep and 30" tall.
