This Art Deco design blanket chest or trunk has a clock, jewelry compartments and a music box that plays a lovely tune, The Merry Widow Waltz by Lehar.
- Vintage 1940s furniture signed "Standard of Chicago IL"
- Walnut, mahogany, & birdseye maple
- Original varnish has been cleaned and preserved with a coat of clear finish
- Minor dings, surface irregularities & shrinkage separations from age - see photos
- Brass & bakelite hardware is original
- Working lock & key, included latch has been disabled for safety
- Replaced quartz battery clock
- Jewelry compartments with sliding lids
