Signed by commercial maker, "Leitner of Chicago," a stunning Art Deco portable bar dates from the 1940's. Stainless steel and mahogany, this top quality bar can be rolled on wheels. Once the property of the first Illinois governor who went to jail, this vintage bar is in beautiful condition.
The wood has a finish in excellent condition with a few mars and scratches for character, the shimmering bar top has a silken polish. Part of the bottom molding on the left side is missing, see photos.
On the working side are a double sink with drains into a collection bin. A lift off cutting board and movable hoppers for garnishes are all heavy weight stainless steel. There is a towel bar and waste bin on this very functional furniture.
Measurements of this sophisticated furniture are 5' 6" long, 25" deep and 43" tall.
